Has a public transport company invited you to take part in a survey campaign? Then you can simply enter the participation code in the eJourney app and get started right away. You can see the campaign details directly in the app: title and confirmed publisher, survey period, contacts, competitions, survey area and much more.
You can also participate in several campaigns at the same time. Simply activate as many participation codes as you like - the app does the rest. Your public transport journeys are then automatically assigned to the respective survey, e.g. a transport association or the Deutschlandticket etc. In some cases, you can also simply use your public transport chip card number to participate.
Your public transport journeys: live and in real time
Get on - set off - document. In the BeIn-BeOut process, the eJourney app recognises exactly whether you are in the public transport environment. You can immediately track your public transport journeys live while you are on the vehicle. You can see the exact type of transport (bus, train, tram, boat, cable car, etc.) as well as the route and stops on your journey on a map in real time. The route kilometres and journey time are also displayed live. Even if you have the eJourney app in the background, your public transport journeys are recognised automatically. Your public transport climate contribution calculated exactly
"Does it make a difference to the climate whether I use public transport or the car?" The eJourney app answers this question for individual journeys as well as continuously for all your journeys. The app calculates your emission savings based on the exact mode of public transport compared to a car. The calculation is based on the latest comparative figures from TREMOD (c)ifeu. With the eJourney you always know quickly and up to date about your contribution to climate protection by using public transport.
Fare zones made easy
Dealing with fare zones can sometimes raise a few questions. The eJourney app analyses the fare zones fully automatically and optionally shows you the start and end fare zone of your journey. The number of fare zones travelled through during a journey is also automatically recorded.
This information can be important for statistical analyses and special fare groups and provide valuable content for transport planning.

The eJourney app is all about security, transparency and information. In your pseudonymised user account, you can see which data has been collected at any time. This not only gives you a personal overview - you can also leave a survey campaign, request data deletion or even delete your entire user account at any time.
